Both Tongole and the Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve strive for low environmental impact. All activities are designed to maximise the experience whilst preserving the reserve and its inhabitants.
Game drives are a great way to spot the animals, whilst covering more ground, however the majority of our safaris are on foot or by canoe.
Enjoy the majestic Bua River where you can fish for lake salmon or meander downstream in a canoe.
A trekker’s paradise, the Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve offers 1800 km of unspoilt and varied wilderness biomes and the option to climb Chipata Mountain.
A guided trip to one of the local Malawi communities is highly recommended. Mingle with locals and be immersed in Malawian culture.
